What a set contains

A set is one passage or one task, together with its items, the answer key and the explanations. Each item measures a named skill. Examples of skills: main idea, detail comprehension, inference, vocabulary in context, and text organization. Sample sets on our exam pages show this label next to each item.

Where the content starts

Each supported exam has a fixed format specification in our engine. The specification controls the task types, the item counts, the option counts and the level band. Language models write the text. The engine holds the format, so the exam shape does not drift between sessions.

For telc B1·B2 Pflege, clinical detail is written against nursing sources we hold and check. A set that drifts from those sources never reaches you.

For English reading practice, passages come from a library of 281 open-licensed texts across 12 subjects. For German reading practice, the engine writes each passage at the CEFR level you select.

What happens when a check fails

The engine rejects the set and writes a new one. For telc Pflege, a set that fails the source check never reaches you. This is why a soruLab worksheet is slower to produce than a plain chat answer — and why you can trust its answer key.

What you see on the page

Sample sets on our exam pages show the skill each item measures. The explanation names the reason the correct option is correct, and the reason the wrong options fail. Generated worksheets carry the same explanations in the answer key, on screen and in the A4 PDF.

Writing standard

English guides and product pages follow a controlled writing standard based on ASD-STE100 (Simplified Technical English): short sentences, active voice, and one meaning for one word. The goal is text you can verify, not text that only sounds good.

If you find an error in a sample set or in an explanation, report it through the contact page. We correct the visible text and the structured metadata together. Our editorial policy describes the same standard for written guides.
