Common questions
Can I pause or freeze my subscription?
Yes — annual plans can be frozen for up to 3 months. Pause any time from your account and your access (and remaining term) waits for you until you're ready to continue.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Cancel from your account settings whenever you like. Access continues until the end of your current billing period — monthly or annual.
Which languages can I use?
soruLab supports English and German. The English Workbench generates questions from English academic passages; the German Workbench generates Goethe-style German practice material.
Do I need to be a teacher?
No. Teachers, students, tutors and parents all use soruLab. Anyone who needs to practise reading, vocabulary or writing from a text can benefit.
What question formats are available?
English Workbench: Reading Comprehension, Cloze, Vocabulary in Context, and Paragraph Completion. German Workbench: Leseverstehen, Lückentext, Wortschatz, Anzeigen matching, and Schreiben. All export to A4 PDF.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. After signing up you get 5 free credits for DeepSeek V4 Pro and 3 free credits for ChatGPT 5.6 Terra — no credit card required. The two credit types stay separate. It's a full trial of the actual tool, not just a demo.
Which model generates my questions?
You choose. A new account gets 5 credits for DeepSeek V4 Pro and 3 credits for ChatGPT 5.6 Terra. The two buckets stay separate: a DeepSeek run never spends a ChatGPT credit. Both models run while you wait. A paid plan removes the credit limit.
